Creating a lesson category
Who is this article for?
Administrators who need to organize lesson content in the library.
Admin role is required.
This article explains how to create, manage, and assign lesson categories to organize content in the lesson library.
1. Creating a category
To create a lesson category:
- Go to Admin.
- Select Configuration.
- Switch to the Lesson Categories tab.
- Click Add.
- Enter category details.
If no Parent Category is selected, this new one will become a parent.
- Click Add to save the category.
The new category will now be available in the Lesson details section.
2. Adding lessons
To add a lesson to a category:
- Go to the lesson list.
- Open a lesson.
- Click the Ellipsis.
- Select Details.
- Scroll down to Library.
- Tick Add to Library.
- Select a Category from the dropdown.
The lesson will now appear in the library under the selected category.
