Seting up access to Safety apps in Ideagen Safety
π Accessing Ideagen Safety Apps
There are two ways to provide your people with access to Ideagen Safety apps such as Check, Notify, and Audit:
-
People with login access to your Ideagen Safety system can sign in using their existing username and password.
-
People without login access can sign in using a single-use token.
π Introduction
This article explains how to grant access to Safety apps by generating single-use tokens for users who do not have system login credentials.
π§Ύ Setup Access to Safety Apps
To generate a single-use token, first locate the person you wish to arrange access for in the appropriate register.
For example, if you're granting access to a Worker, go to the Worker Register.
𧩠Generating a Single-Use Token
Once youβve located the correct person in the register, open the βοΈ Actions menu and select Create Token.
In the pop-up window:
-
Select the apps you want to provide access to by ticking the relevant checkboxes.
-
Choose the appropriate Apps Portal for the person.
π Note: The functionality available to the user is based on the selected Apps Portal.
Finally, click Create Token.
The system will generate a token for the selected apps, which will remain valid for one month.
π² Installing and Logging in with a Token
The person seeking access must first install the relevant app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Once installed, they should select Login with Token and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the sign-in process.
π Logging in with Username and Password
Users who have a Safety username and password will be directed to the portal assigned to them in User Authorisation.
For help with user setup or portal access, refer to the Support Portal.
