Managing Observation settings in Ideagen Workforce Safety
📄 In the Compliance Module, users can view and manage Observations submitted through the Notify App or Webform Portal.
This guide explains how to customize ‘Categories’ and ‘Classifications’ that users can select when submitting an Observation.
⚙️ Settings
Observation options are available in Settings, found under the Profile icon at the top of the screen.
📂 Observations
Expand the Compliance section
Click ‘Observations’
You will see Categories and Classifications displayed as picklists with available options.
➕ Add a Category
Click the ‘+’ icon
Enter the Category name
Click ‘Save’
➕ Add a Classification
Select the desired Category
Click the ‘+’ icon
Enter the Classification name
Click ‘Save’
✏️ Edit a Category or Classification
Select the item from the picklist
Click the ‘Edit’ icon
Enter the new name and click ‘Save’
🗑️ Delete a Category or Classification
Select the item from the picklist
Click the ‘Delete’ icon
Click ‘Yes’ to confirm
Important:
❗ Deleting a Category removes all child Classifications
❗ This change is permanent and cannot be undone
