When items are added to the Plant / Equipment Register in Ideagen Safety, selecting a Category is mandatory. This guide shows how to manage the available options in Settings (found under the Profile
icon at the top of the screen)

⚙️ Settings

1. Go to Settings.

2. Expand the Assets section.

3. Click Plant Categories.
   
   
   
    

➕ Add Category

1. All existing Plant Categories are displayed.

2. Click ➕ Add.

3. Enter the Category Name.

4. Click 💾 Save.
   
   
   
    

5. The new Category will now be available when adding a Plant / Equipment item.

🛠️ Edit / Delete Category

1. Locate the Category you wish to update.

2. Click Actions.

3. Select either ✏️ Edit or 🗑️ Delete.
   
   
   
    

✅ Your Plant Categories are now updated and available for use in the Plant / Equipment Register.
