Manage Plant categories in Ideagen Safety
When items are added to the Plant / Equipment Register in Ideagen Safety, selecting a Category is mandatory. This guide shows how to manage the available options in Settings (found under the Profile
icon at the top of the screen)

⚙️ Settings
Go to Settings.
Expand the Assets section.
Click Plant Categories.
➕ Add Category
All existing Plant Categories are displayed.
Click ➕ Add.
Enter the Category Name.
Click 💾 Save.
The new Category will now be available when adding a Plant / Equipment item.
🛠️ Edit / Delete Category
Locate the Category you wish to update.
Click Actions.
Select either ✏️ Edit or 🗑️ Delete.
✅ Your Plant Categories are now updated and available for use in the Plant / Equipment Register.
