Logging in
Who is this article for?
All users logging in to the Ideagen Workforce Safety mobile app for the first time or on a new device — including contractors from third-party companies using a native account.
The Ideagen Workforce Safety app supports two login methods. Which method you use depends on how your account was set up:
- SSO (Single Sign-On) — for users whose organisation has configured an identity provider such as Microsoft, Google, Okta, or Ping. You log in using your existing work credentials.
- Native login — for users without SSO, including contractors from third-party companies who access Contractor Portal functionality using their own email address and password.
If you are unsure which method applies to you, contact your company administrator.
1. How to log in
1.1. Logging in with SSO
Use this method if your organisation has configured Single Sign-On.
- Open the Ideagen Workforce Safety app.
- Select your Region from the dropdown — Australia or US.
- Tap Login.
- You will be redirected to your organisation's SSO login page. Sign in using your usual work credentials.
Supported SSO providers: Microsoft, Google, Okta, and Ping. Contact your IT administrator if you are unsure which provider your organisation uses.
1.2. Logging in with a native account
Use this method if you do not have SSO — for example, if you are a contractor from a third-party company accessing Contractor Portal functionality using your own email address and password.
- Open the Ideagen Workforce Safety app.
- Select your Region from the dropdown — Australia or US.
- Scroll down on the login screen to locate the native login option.
- Enter your username (email address) and password.
- Tap Login.
Native login credentials are separate from any SSO account. If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot password option on the login screen to reset it via email.
2. Enabling biometric authentication
After your first login, you can enable biometric authentication (Face ID or fingerprint) to speed up future logins.
- Tap the Settings icon (gear icon, top right of the home screen).
- Toggle Biometric Authentication on.
Biometric authentication uses the secure login method configured on your device. You must have Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock enabled in your device settings for this option to be available.
3. Logging out
- Tap the Settings icon (gear icon, top right of the home screen).
- Tap Logout.
