Adding Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points to a lesson

Administrators who need to assign CPD values to lessons.
Admin access is required.
This article explains how to enable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) features for your organisation and assign activity values to lessons.
1. Enabling CPD
To enable CPD:
- Log in to Ideagen Learning as an administrator.
- Go to Admin.
- Select Configuration.
- Switch to the Platform tab.
- Tick Continuing Professional Development.
- Enter the name for your CPD value (e.g., CPD Hours or CPD Points).
Once enabled, CPD values will appear on lesson lists, result lists, and certificates generated from Ideagen Learning.
2. Assigning activity values
To assign CPD activity values to a lesson:
- Create a new module lesson or edit an existing one.
- Click Edit (Pencil icon) next to the lesson name.
- Enter the CPD Points value for the lesson.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
