In Ideagen Safety, the key details of an injury event—such as the part of the body injured and the type of injury sustained—are recorded on the Injury Details tab of the Event record. The options available for selection within this tab are customisable to suit the needs of your organisation.



 

⚙ Settings

To do this, begin in Settings, found toward the top of the screen. Click to expand the Events section, then select Injury Management.

➕ Add ‘Body Location and Injuries’ Item

The page is divided into two sections: Body Locations and Injuries and Treatment Required Hint Customisation.

In the Body Locations and Injuries section:

• Injury location options are displayed hierarchically.

• Begin by selecting the top-level Body Location (these options are fixed and cannot be customised).

• This selection populates the Body Location Detailed field with more granular options.

• The selection made here populates the Injury Type field.

To add a new option to either Body Location Detailed or Injury Type:

1. Click the ➕ icon.

2. Type the new entry.

3. Save.
   
   

🗑 Delete ‘Body Location and Injuries’ Item

To remove an item, select it and click the 🗑 Bin icon. Once saved, the changes are immediately available within Injury Events.



 

💬 Treatment Required Hint Customisation

This section applies to the Treatment Required section of the Injury Management tab within an Injury Event.

It allows you to:

• Customise the text displayed when a user hovers over the ? icon next to the available options.

• Align these hints with your organisation’s criteria for each treatment type.
  
  

To customise:

1. Edit the text in each text box.

2. Click Save.

3. Changes are applied immediately.
