Managing Event priority settings in Ideagen Safety
Ideagen Safety supports the ability to define and apply a priority scale to Events that your organisation records in the system.
This scale is typically used to prioritise the seriousness or magnitude of Events in order of importance, so the business can respond in an appropriate time frame.
⚙️ Settings
This priority scale is an optional feature managed via Settings (found toward the top of the screen).
Click to expand Events, then select Event Priority.
➕ Add Priority Level
By default, the priority table is blank and should remain that way if you do not wish to use the feature.
To add a scale, click Add to define the first level.
Give the level a Name and enter the number of hours and/or days that Events of this priority should be due in.
Click Save, and repeat this procedure for as many levels as required.
✅ Use Priority Levels
Once defined, these options are available when entering the details of an Event.
Simply tick the Priority checkbox to select.
✏️ Edit / Delete Levels
To edit or delete an existing priority level:
Click Actions
Choose the appropriate option (Edit/Delete)
