📘 Introduction

Ideagen Workforce Safety provides a simple and effective way to manage the Contractor Companies your organisation works with by organising them into categories. This guide explains how to create, edit, and delete Contractor Categories in Settings. These options can be found under the Profile icon at the top of the screen.

⚙️ Settings – People Section

1. Navigate to Settings.

2. Expand the People section.

3. Select Contractor Company Categories.
   
   
   
   

➕ Add a Category

1. The Contractor Company Categories Register will display all existing categories.

2. To add a new category, click Add.

3. Enter the name of the new category.

4. Click Save.
   
   
   
   

✏️ Edit or Delete a Category

1. Locate the category in the Contractor Company Categories Register.

2. Click Actions.

3. Select Edit or Delete as needed.
   
   
   
   

📂 Using Categories

• Once created, categories can be assigned to Contractor Companies in the Company Register.

• Categories may also be used as filters when searching or browsing the Company Register.
