The ‘Operational Dashboard’ in Damstra Safety provides a graphical, real-time snapshot of the Health & Safety landscape across your organisation. Powerful and easy to use, it’s a great starting point for your regular Health & Safety meetings. This guide covers how to access, understand, and get the most out of this feature.

🖥️ Accessing the Operational Dashboard

The ‘Operational Dashboard’ can be accessed via Dashboard in the Menu bar. Expand it to reveal all sections of the ‘Dashboard’.



 

📈 Overall Status

The ‘Overall Status Dashboard’ provides the highest-level look across key elements of Ideagen . No setup or manual data entry is required—it automatically accumulates data from all modules of Ideagen Safety and displays it in easily readable graphs, charts, and tables.



 

📍 Filter by Site

Use the Site Selection button in the Menu bar to choose one or more Sites (depending on your access level). The Dashboard will filter to only show data for the selected Site(s).



 

📅 Filter by Date

Choose between All Records (all data since system implementation) or Custom to set a date range. You can use presets or manually pick dates from the calendar.

✅ Filter by Completion or ‘OK’ Status

Tick the Hide Completed and OK records checkbox to focus on ongoing/unresolved items, or untick to show all data.




 

📄 Web Form Status

The Risk Management section shows the number of Risks and Significant Risks identified in the Risk Assessment section. Data is displayed by category and status.
You can click the Full-screen icon to enlarge graphs/charts.

🔍 Data Points

Hover over a graph segment to display the data key, and click on it to jump directly to the source data in Damstra Safety.



 

🚨 Event Status

Shows the number of Events and related Investigations logged in the Risk module, separated by type and displayed by status.



 

🚚 Plant and Transport Status

Displays Certification and Maintenance statuses for Plant and Transport items from the Assets module. Use radio buttons to switch between Company and Contracted Workers.



 

📆 Events Last 7 Days

Shows Pending and Active Events reported within the last 7 days. Data appears in a sortable/searchable table.



 

🎓 Investigations and Training

Displays overdue/due Investigations and upcoming Training (next 30 days).



 

📤 Exporting the Overall Status Dashboard

Click System Status Report and choose:

• Company name in header

• Paper size and orientation

• Format: HTML (requires login) or PDF (for printing/sharing)
  
  
  
  

📧 Sending Status Report via Email

Click Send Status Report, add recipients and comments, then send the PDF.

Shows expiry details for:

• Inductions

• Licences

• Training

• PPE

• Medicals

Each Expiry Dashboard includes filtering options and a table view. Click Actions → View for details.

🖨️ Exporting Expiry Dashboards

Click Print and select HTML or PDF to export the Expiry Dashboard.
