This article walks you through the process of testing the portable alcolizer.

1. Performing a test

To test the portable alcolizer:

1. Wake the device by pressing the Power button in the centre.

2. Wait 10-15 seconds for start up to complete.
   You will see the main menu.

3. Press the Power button in the centre to enter testing mode.

4. Log in at the Damstra terminal.

5. You will be advised to proceed to provide a breath sample.

6. With the alcolizer ready in Testing Mode, press the Power button in the center again to begin a test.

7. The alcolizer will begin collecting the sample.
   Count slowly from 1 to 10 while keeping your mouth 10 to 15 cm away from the sample port (top of the device).
8. The alcolizer will display the result of your test.

9. After displaying the result, the alcolizer will automatically return to the main menu screen.

We recommend fully charging the device before testing, and cleaning the mouthpiece regularly for accurate results.
