Setting Risk Management options in Ideagen Workforce Safety
Because every organization operates differently, Ideagen Workforce Safety provides flexibility to enable or disable certain Risk Assessment features to suit your company’s needs.

Accessing Settings 🔍
To manage Risk Management settings:

Click the Profile icon (👤) at the top-right of the screen.

Go to Settings.
-
Expand the Risk section and click Risk Management.
Configuring Risk Assessment Fields 🛠️
Within Risk Management settings, you can enable or disable fields that appear in the Risk Assessment Register.
Simply tick (✔) to show or untick (✖) to hide each option.
Available Options:
📂 Subcategory

Prompts users to select a second-level subcategory after choosing the main hazard category.
📝 Assumptions

Adds a free-text field on the Description tab for documenting assumptions related to the identified hazard.

Useful for providing extra context during assessment or review.
👥 Compiled By
-
Adds a section to the Description tab to list all contributors involved in the Risk Assessment.

Helpful for future audits and reviews.
🧪 Substances

Links hazards to substances from your Substances Register in the Assets section.

Appears on the Description tab when enabled.
🌡️ Conditions

Adds a section to list any environmental or workplace conditions that may contribute to the hazard.
Additional Risk Assessment Options ⚙️
Found under Settings → Options and Preferences → General:
✅ Hazard Controls

When enabled, allows entry of existing controls for a risk in a dedicated table under the Control Measures tab.
📊 Post-control Scoring for Impacts

On: Calculates Residual Risk Score based on the effectiveness of each control, with the highest score determining the overall residual risk.

Off: Calculates Residual Risk Score collectively based on all controls combined.
