Installing a bracker for the DT-VTMK2 visitor terminal

This article walks you through the steps to install a visitor terminal bracket.
1. Preparation
To complete this installation, you will need the following components and tools:
DT-VTMK2 Bracket
Phillips Head Screwdriver
2. Installation
To install the bracket:
Turn off all power to the terminal.
Unplug the terminal from mains power.
Place the terminal screen-down on a soft surface to prevent scratching the touchscreen.
Ensure the camera is angled properly to avoid placing weight or pressure on it.
Locate the circled screws and carefully remove them.
Take care to ensure no parts shift or slide as the final screws are removed.
Lift the stand and place it aside.
Lift the existing bracket and disconnect any USB connections attached to it.
Place the bracket aside.
Connect the USB cables from the replacement bracket into the terminal.
Align the new bracket so that the circled holes line up with the back of the terminal.
Ensure that no cables are pinched during placement.
Align the stand with the existing holes on the terminal.
Insert the four screws into the circled locations to secure the bracket and stand.
The two screws with wide tops are intended for the bottom two holes.
- Place the terminal upright again.
- Tuck any excess cable away into the stand for tidiness.
- Reconnect the Terminal to Mains Power.
- Turn on the Terminal.
