Release summary
We have released the second stage of enhancements to the existing Audit Logs for Observations and Events. Previously the logs were more technical, in some cases showing internal numeric identifiers of attributes such as Sites, Categories and so on. We have replaced these with the actual values that the users see on their screens in Safety.
Regardless of the source of the change to an Event or Observation (directly in Safety, from a Web Portal or Forms, if integrated) the audit logs now capture uniform user-friendly history of transactions.
We can also now capture the fact of deleting a corrective action from an Event, to ensure that such important transactions are recorded in the Audit Log. This functionality has been already available for Observations and will soon be available for Risk Assessment (Standard).
What's next
We are continuing our work on Audit Log functionality in Safety. The following releases will include enhanced logging for Risk Assessment (Standard) and for the data coming into Safety from the Notify mobile app.
