Enrolling fingerprint on the fingerprint scanner
π Introduction β Biometric Authentication
Biometric authentication is an easy-to-use and accurate technology that enhances security by safeguarding employee information.
Ideagen TWMS Terminals are equipped with finger scanning functionality for identification and access control.
This ensures:
- β Reliable attendance tracking
- β Elimination of βbuddy punchingβ (one person logging in for another)
When a contractor/employee logs onto a TWMS Terminal for the first time, a supervisor must set up their finger scan enrolment.
π Enrolling Finger Scans β Step by Step
1.π² On the TWMS terminal touch screen, tap the Manage icon at the top of the screen.
2.π€ From the Managerβs dropdown list, select your name and enter your PIN code.

β Best Practice Recommendation
