Record type options are configurable settings that define how a record behaves and what information is required from contractor companies.
Why it matters:
These options ensure that companies provide the correct documentation, metadata, and acknowledgments needed for compliance and operational tracking.
Key points
- Active – Enables the record for completion. Required for the record to appear in the company’s Records List.
- Document Upload – Requires the company to upload a supporting file for the record.
- Expire Required – Captures the expiry date of the record (e.g., license or certification).
- Number/ID Required – Captures a unique identifier such as a policy or license number.
- Country Required – Captures the country where the record is recognized or valid.
- State Required – Captures the state or region where the record is recognized or valid.
- Approval Required – Enables admin review and approval of the submitted record. Leave unchecked if no review is needed.
- Worker Sign-Off Required – Requires contractor workers to acknowledge they have viewed the submitted record (e.g., Safe Work Method Statement).
