Project Administration - Project Properties
Purpose
This article explains how to access and edit basic project settings in Damstra Forms, including how to deactivate a project and view its change log.
Access project properties
To view or modify a project's settings:
- Go to the Project Home.
- Select Settings > Properties.
This opens a list of configurable settings for the current project, along with the Change Log, which tracks updates made to the project.
Edit project settings
To update project attributes:
- Click the Edit button at the bottom of the Properties screen.
- Modify the desired fields.
To deactivate the project:

Uncheck the Active checkbox.
This removes the project from the Project Selection dropdown menu, making it unavailable to users.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Why this matters
Editing project properties allows you to:
- Keep project settings up to date
- Control project visibility for users
- Maintain a clear audit trail through the Change Log
