Installing a mini PC and power adapter replacement

This article walks you through the process of installing a replacement mini PC and power adapter.
1. Preparation
You will need the following components and tools to complete this installation:
- Philips Head Screwdriver and Allen Key Set
- Replacement Mini PC Unit
- Replacement 12V Power Adapter with IEC Power Cable
This procedure involves low-voltage computer connections – no licensed electrician is required.
2. Installation
To install the replacements:
Unlock and open the Terminal Cabinet, then switch off all mains power to the Terminal.
Locate and unplug the existing Power Adapter (highlighted in green in the image below).
Connect the new Power Adapter to the round power socket on the Mini PC unit.
Connect the other end of the adapter to an available power outlet (or use the included IEC power cable if needed).
Restore mains power to the Terminal.
Close and lock the Terminal Cabinet, and allow the Terminal to complete its startup sequence.
If the terminal is now fully operational, please return the unused Mini PC unit to the address below.
3. Troubleshooting
If issues continue, please proceed with the following steps (1 to 7):
Unlock and open the Terminal Cabinet, then turn off all mains power to the Terminal.
Unplug all cables connected to the current Mini PC.
Unscrew and remove the Mini PC unit from the Terminal Cabinet
(highlighted in red in the image below).Install the new Mini PC unit into the Terminal Cabinet and tighten all screws securely.
Reconnect all cables to the new Mini PC, ensuring you use the same socket positions as the previous unit.
Restore mains power to the Terminal.
Close and lock the Terminal Cabinet, then allow the Terminal to complete its startup sequence.
4. Returning components
If the Mini PC unit was replaced or remains unused, please arrange to return the unit to:
