Installing a modem replacement

This article walks you through the process of installing a replacement modem.
1. Preparation
You will need the following components and tools to complete this install:
- 4G Modem
- Small Flat Head Screwdriver
2. Installation
To install the modem:
- Open Terminal Cabinet.
- Turn off all power to the terminal.
- Locate the existing 4G Modem as shown below.
- Identify the power pack connected to the modem and unplug it from power.
- Take the screwdriver and loosen the small screws on the power plug.
- Disconnect the power plug from the Modem.
- Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Modem.
- Unscrew and disconnect the antenna cable.
- Grip the Modem toward the bottom and gently apply force upwards and tilt towards yourself to unclip the Modem from the Din Rail.
- Place the Modem aside and obtain the replacement Modem.
- Hook the bottom of the Modem Din Rail Mount under the existing Din Rail and gently apply upward force while tilting the modem towards the wall of the enclosure to clip the replacement Modem in place.
- Connect the antenna cables into the left and right sockets labelled ‘RxDIV’ and ‘MAIN’.
- Connect the Ethernet cable to the port labelled ‘LAN 1’.
- Connect the power plug to the power plug labelled ‘DC IN’.
- Take the screwdriver and tighten the small screws on the power plug.
- Plug the power pack back into power.
- Turn on power to the terminal.
- Close the DT-MK2 Cabinet.
3. Returning components
