📱 Mobile App – Forms Does Not Have Access to My Photos
❗Problem You’re unable to attach photos in the Damstra Digital Forms mobile app because it doesn’t have permission to access your photo library.
🔍 Cause
This issue is typically due to iOS privacy settings where photo access for the app is disabled or restricted.
✅ Resolution
1. Enable Photo Access
- Open Settings on your iPad.
- Go to Privacy & Security > Photos.
- Tap Damstra Forms.
- Select:
- All Photos – full access to your photo library.
- Selected Photos – choose specific images.
- Ensure None is not selected.
2. Restart the App
- Close and reopen Damstra Forms to apply the updated permissions.
🧪 Advanced Checks (If Issue Persists)
- Update the App: Make sure Damstra Forms is running the latest version.
- Reinstall the App: Delete and reinstall from the App Store.
- Try Another Device or Account: Helps isolate whether the issue is device-specific.
- Reset Privacy Settings:
- Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy
- Reopen the app and re-grant permissions when prompted.
