Release Overview

• When: Wednesday 15 December 2021
• What: Allowing to assign responsibility for actions to custom person types (aka "Other Person Types"). Feature-controlled by the already existing "Other Person Types" feature.

• Who get these changes:

Key Changes

Currently, those customers who have the already existing "Other Person Types" feature switched on, can define up to two custom person types (aka "Other Person Types") in Settings > People > Person Types.

This release adds a setting in Settings > Options and Preferences: "Other Person Types for Controls/Corrective Actions":

When the setting is checked, and the user adds a new action for an eligible parent entity (e.g., Event > Standard Investigation, Audit, Meeting and so on), this action can be assigned not only to a Worker or Contracted Worker, but also to a person of an "Other Person Type".

By default the setting is unchecked.
