Workers Home Screen
Who is this article for?
All users who want to understand what is available on their personal home screen in the Ideagen Workforce Safety app.
The home screen is the first thing you see when you open the app in Employee mode. It gives you a summary of your compliance status, access to your personal QR code, and a quick view of anything requiring your attention.
1. What's on the home screen
The home screen displays the following:
| Your QR code | A personal QR code that matches the one on your access card. It can be scanned at site terminals to gain access, or presented to a worksite administrator for check-in. |
| Damstra ID | Your unique identifier displayed below your QR code. |
| Check-in | Tap to check in to a worksite. You can also use the toggle next to the button to scan a terminal QR code for access. |
| Items to complete | Shows how many mobilisation requirements are Due now (red) or Due soon (orange). Tap View all to see the full list. |
| Learning | A count of online lessons currently assigned to you. Tap to go directly to the Learning tab. |
| Sessions to attend | Displays any upcoming Health & Safety sessions you are booked into. Tap Sessions to view or self-register. |
2. Checking in to a worksite
Your QR code on the home screen can be used in two ways to access a worksite:
- Present your QR code — show the QR code on your home screen to a worksite administrator or scanner at the gate.
- Scan a terminal QR code — tap the toggle next to the Check-in button to activate your camera and scan the QR code displayed on a site terminal. This will register your access directly.
Your QR code is unique to your profile and matches what appears on your physical access card. Keep your home screen accessible when arriving at a worksite.
3. Switching to Manage Worksite
If you have worksite management access, you will see a refresh/switch icon next to your name on the home screen. Tap this icon to switch to Manage Worksite mode. See Switching to Manage Worksite for more details.
