Setting up the GO1 integration
Who is this article for?
Administrators who need to integrate GO1 with Ideagen Learning and import training content.
Admin access and GO1 portal credentials are required.
This article explains how to set up the GO1 plugin in Ideagen Learning and sync lessons from your GO1 portal into the platform.
1. Setting up the plugin
To set up the GO1 plugin:
- Log in to Ideagen Learning with Administrator permissions.
- Navigate to Admin.
- Go to Integration.
- Select Plugins.
- Click Add Plugin.
- Choose the GO1 option.
- Enter a name for your plugin.
- Click Add.
- Click the Connect to GO1 button.
- Enter your GO1 portal credentials.
- Select the portal you want to connect from the list shown.
- Click Authorize Velpic.
The GO1 plugin is now successfully connected.
2. Syncing lessons
To sync lessons from GO1:
- Log in to Ideagen Learning with Administrator permissions.
- Go to Manage.
- Select Lessons.
- Click the Import Content button.
- Click the name of the plugin you created.
- On the new screen, click Add GO1 Content.
A new tab will open your GO1 portal.
- Open the user menu.
- Select Content.
- Browse the marketplace, select content using the checkboxes.
- Click Add selection to My Library.
- Click My Library to view your added content.
- Return to the Ideagen Learning tab.
- Click Sync.
- Wait for the sync to complete.
The status will change to Done.
The synced lessons will appear in Draft status in Ideagen Learning. Publish them when you're ready to distribute.
