Updating the Session Details
Use the Session details screen to view and manage session information, topics/skills, and attendees. Access this screen by selecting the Details button on any session listed in the Health & Safety calendar.
Session details
The top section of the screen displays basic session information, including:
- Description
- Date and time
- Location
- Trainer/presenter
You can take the following actions using the options on the right:
- Complete session once it has finished
- Add to calendar to set a reminder before the session starts

Cancel session if it’s no longer needed
To update session details, select the Session details tab. You can modify:
- Session name – a brief summary of the session
- Description – a detailed explanation of the session

Additional settings:
- Manage via mobile app – allow all members of the specified worksite to record attendance and upload attachments
- Book via public website – enable booking through the Damstra website

Enable competency rating – mark attendees as Competent or Not yet competent after the session
Date, time, and location
Specify the session’s:
- Date, start time, and end time
- Total session time – exclude breaks (e.g., lunch) if needed

Location – define after selecting the worksite
Trainer/presenter
Choose the trainer or presenter type:
- Internal employee – select from the dropdown list

External person – manually enter the name
Capacity
Set the maximum number of attendees:
- Enter a specific number to limit registrations
- Or select No max attendee limit
Topics/skills
To configure session content, go to the Topics/skills tab. You can:
- Add topic/skill – assign new skills to attendees’ profiles

Upload documents – drag and drop files or click to upload in either the new or existing skill sections
Attendees
Manage attendees by selecting the Attendees tab. You can:
- View and update the attendee list
- Track attendance and competency (if enabled)
