Exploring the self-configure job titles in EPP

This article explains how to configure job titles in Workforce Management. Users can create, edit, and manage job titles, define their impact on mobilization status, and set skill-based requirements. This feature supports worksite compliance by linking job titles to access rules, employee profiles, and training requirements.
Steps:
1. Access the Configure Job Titles page
From the left-hand navigation menu, go to System Settings → Workforce Management Settings → Configure Job Titles.
2. View existing job titles
The job titles page displays all configured job titles, including:
- Status: Active, Inactive, or Draft
- Mobilization: Associated mobilization type
- Impact on Mobilization Status
- Requirements and Linkages
- Number of Employees Assigned
Use filters to search by:
- Job title Status
- Mobilizations
- Affect on mobilizations
- Search
3. Create a new job title
To create a new job title:
- Click Create New Job Title
- Enter the Job Title Name
- (Optional) Limit the job title to specific mobilizations
- Define the Effect on Mobilization Status
- Click Save to create the job title
4. Duplicate a job title
To duplicate an existing job title:
- Click More Options next to the job title
- Select Duplicate
- Enter a new name for the duplicated job title
- Click Save
The duplicated job title will be in Draft status and can be edited or deleted until activated.
5. View job title details summary
Click the job title name or the Details icon to view:
- Title
- Status
- Mobilization
- Impact on mobilization status
- Creator and creation date
- Last modified date and user
- Scheduled email settings
- Click Delete to remove the job title
6. Edit job title settings
To edit a job title:
- Open the job title details
- Click Edit Draft
- Update settings and requirements
- Click Save to apply changes
7. View job title requirements
Go to the Requirements tab to view:
- Skill code/name
- Completion conditions
- Renewal settings
- Completion status by company/employee
- Filter by mobilization start date
- Use Expand/Collapse All and Refresh options
8. View job title linkages
Go to the Linkages tab to view access control rules:
- Terminal or terminal group
- Worksite access rules
Employees must have the valid job title to log on/off at linked terminals.
9. View employees with the job title
Go to the Employees tab to view:
- Employee name
- Company
- Mobilization type
- Start and expiry dates
- Job title status
- Effective date
10. View job title change history
Go to the Change History tab to view:
- Timestamp of changes
- Type of change
- User who made the change
